PRESS :: SOUTHERN WEDDINGS V5

It's been a little while since the exciting debut of the Southern Weddings Magazine V5, but I'm so proud to (finally) share the gorgeous spreads that I was so lucky to be a part of! I couldn't be happier to have some of my work grace these gorgeous pages!
This adorable print was such a hit with bride's and Southern families alike!

These green place cards were such a special touch to this small Southern wedding. Each card was a letter to from the bride and groom; the perfect personal touch to make your guests feel at home.
Check out this photo not seen in the magazine!

I LOVED when the SW girls asked me to hand-letter onto a plate for the Texas Two Step pie! It was an awesome challenge to master lettering on the porcelain. Such a fun project!

If you're a planning bride or just a wedding enthusiast I suggest you pick up a copy of this and read it from cover to cover! I promise you'll get lost in all of this wedding deliciousness.

PRESS :: HER NASHVILLE

I was so happy to see some of my work on Her Nashville's blog last week.  The post, How to Throw a Simple Summer Partyfeatured my calligraphy on the party-perfect invitations.

Here's a couple better views of the invite!

PRESS :: ENCHANTED BRIDES MAGAZINE

I recently teamed up with a handful of other amazingly talented StudioWed vendors on a styled shoot for the summer issue of Enchanted Brides magazine.  The shoot took place on the lawn at The Hermitage, the home of Andrew Jackson, here in Nashville.  The Enchanted Magical Woodlands theme was captured through the use of burlap and lace, vintage furniture, and a slew of wooden accents including a gorgeous wood-burned piece by Brocade Designs.

My work is hiding all throughout the shoot...the menu, place cards, table signage, and drink tags.

 You can pick up the summer issue on newsstands now, or check out the digital issue here.

PRESS :: SOUTHERN WEDDINGS

I had a little mention on Southern Weddings earlier this week.  Their June Southern Bride of the Month, Kelly, mentioned one of my wedding suites as a personal favorite.  You can read the entire post here on their website.  Thanks for the mention Kelly!

PRESS :: CHARLESTON WEDDINGS

 As evident by my lack of recent blog posts, I've been extremely busy over the last couple of months!  In the midst of all the chaos I was extremely excited when Katherine Miller of Katherine Miller Events in Charleston, South Carolina contacted me about working with her on a tablescape she was creating for an article in the summer 2012 issue of Charleston Weddings magazine.  Obviously my answer was DUH! I'd love to help!  Katherine created a gorgeous Vintage Prep themed sweetheart tablescape with a color pallet that will knock your socks off and I happily provided the lettering for the place cards, favors, table number, and chair signs.

You can read the entire article in the summer issue or by going to their website here.  And you can read Katherine's blog post about her experience here.  Special thanks to Katherine for asking me to help, it was such a blast!
